  • Dear Control Global, I have a question about the orifice flow meter and it is why we put it before the control valve not after it (i.e. the upstream of the CV not on the downstream ) and I found this case in the refineries around 98% so I need the standards that the designers enforced them to put the orifice in this position, and could we put after the CV if there is enough length of pipe as I found and in this case it doesn't matter? Thanks for your help.
