What are we doing today about speed of response in process automation?

Walt Boyes talks about what John Berra, from Emerson, said at the ISA Wireless Summit held in July 2007 regarding applications for wireless in process automation. Berra said that we need to be realistic about speed of response and compare it to what we are doing today, which in most cases is nothing.
