Siemens’ Sitrans LR250 non-contacting, radar level transmitter with a new threaded polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) antenna for liquid and slurry measurement opens up new applications in extreme conditions such as liquid and slurry. The threaded PVDF antenna is designed for extreme conditions. It is suitable for use in food and beverage, chemical and water treatment applications.

|MAINTENANCE-FREE LEVEL SENSING
LVL-B Series vibration limit switches are insensitive to material build-up, external vibration and flow noise and have no mechanical moving parts. They are FM- and CSA-certified as dust ignition-proof (DIP) for Class II and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E-G. They are available with 500-mm (20-in.), 1000-mm (40-in.) and 1500-mm (60-in.) extension pipes.

Integrated with SmartBob sensors for solids in a single network, they enable users to monitor tanks over the Internet or on smart phones.

Impulse Series continuous time domain reflectometery level transmitters now have Modbus RS-485 digital communications capability. The interface offers several modes and data formats, including ASCII, RTU, floating point, integer and others. They provide continuous level measurement of liquids to ranges up to 50 ft. (15 m). They’re fit for use in environments that are classified hazardous (Class I, Div. 1).
|WEB-ENABLED ULTRASONIC LEVEL SENSORS
LOE web-enabled ultrasonic level sensors provide a low-cost, tailored sensing solution for monitoring liquids or solids in remote tanks. They feature power over Ethernet (POE) for easy wiring. Sensor level data is transmitted to a dedicated website that uses an open-source, MySQL database format to ensure that user data is available in any format. They provide a detection range from 4 in. to 40 ft.

|SANITARY RADAR LEVEL TRANSMITTER
Type 8138 non-contact radar level transmitter for continuous level measurement is suitable for use in small vessels that contain beverage liquids under sanitary process conditions. With a maximum 150 °C fluid temperature and depending on the flange connection, up to 16-bar pressure steam sterilization is possible. The flange connections’ design allows cleaning to hygienic standards.

SafePoint rotary paddle level sensor has a self-validating design and detects material presence in bins and silos and continuously monitors sensor health and system power failure. This makes the SafePoint truly "fail-safe." Also available for the SafePoint is a new two-vane, stainless-steel, collapsible paddle that can be inserted from the outside of a bin or silo through a 11/4-in. coupling.
|SMART LEVEL GAUGE
The M2110L smart level gauge measures in linear and non-linear tanks and has an accuracy of 0.05% full-scale and ranges for 20 psi. It has a 4½-digit display, RS-232C, 4-20 mA communications and SPDT relay outputs with selectable dead band. Its features include backlight, damping selectable from 0.1 to 50 sec and selection of engineering units. It also displays minutes and hours time constants.

|MULTIPARAMETER LEVEL TRANSMITTER
Levelflex FMP55 measures the overall level of a liquid and the interface between two liquids. It is the first transmitter to use two technologies in one probe. It automatically switches between them for a concise and reliable interface measurement, even in the presence of emulsion or rag layers. The level sensor has a measuring range of up to 33 ft (10 m). The transmitter offers a 4-20 mA with HART output signal.

Optiflex 1100 guided radar level meter uses time domain reflectometry (TDR) for continuous measurement of liquids or solids. It’s a cost-effective, higher-performing replacement for traditional level meters with an intuitive, five-step quick setup procedure that gives reliable measurements within minutes. Users have a choice of three probe types up to 65 ft.
|MAGNETIC LEVEL INDICATOR
Vegamag 62 magnetic level indicator uses a magnetized float to cause a series of metal flags to rotate, indicating the position of the liquid level inside of the chamber. The corresponding bridle houses a Vegaflex guided- wave radar, which provides redundant level by transmitting a 4-20 mA signal for control. It is an ideal replacement for sight glasses, displacers and DP transmitters.
|THROUGH-AIR RADAR TRANSMITTER
Magnetrol Model R82 is a loop-powered, 26-gHz, through-air, radar transmitter unaffected by turbulence, foam, mist, fog, insects or condensation. Users have the choice of the menu-driven, four-pushbutton, two-line x 16-character display, HART digital communications or PACTware for configuration via the local user interface or remotely.

The LMT point-level sensor monitors the level of liquids, viscous media and powders in food and beverage processing tanks and pipes. It can provide reliable level monitoring in storage and mixing tanks, pump monitoring to prevent run-dry conditions, and detection of media level in pipes. Its high-frequency capacitive technology allows the sensor to detect measuring points at multiple frequencies.
