Control and Control Design magazine have been notified that ASBPE (American Society of Business Publication Editors) Awards will be forthcoming in June: To Joe Feeley, Jim Montague and Jen Dakas, for Control Design's technical article, "Pretty Pictures" in the October 2006 issue; To Dan Hebert, for Control's "Technically Speaking: Who should design your next project?" column, in the June and July 2006 issues; and to the Control Team, especially Group Art Director Steve Herner and Art Director Derek Chamberlain, for Control's "Cutting the Wires" opening page/spread--photo in the August 2006 issue. While this warms the cockles of my heart, it is important to note that none of these awards would have been forthcoming without the end-users, vendors, and machine builders who provided the information and interviews on which they were based. Control and Control Design have become the finest magazines in the automation space because of the end users and machine builders and system integrators and suppliers who helped us get there, and help us maintain our lead. Without them, we'd be a sorry lot indeed.
