Matrikon Inc. announced that Sasol's Secunda site in South Africa has entered into a site-wide license for ProcessDoctor, Matrikon's solution for monitoring and optimizing the assets that control plants. Secunda is one of the world's largest stand-alone manufacturing facilities with 19 plants covering an area of 14 square kilometers. ProcessDoctor will monitor and help sustain the performance of 9,400 control loops at the 19 plants. The value of the contract was not disclosed.
