Honeywell, Phoenix, will supply a manufacturing execution system (MES) to Aluminum Bahrain for its Potline-5 expansion project in Bahrain. The multimillion-dollar contract includes a Business.Flex PKS system that will be integrated with an SAP system. The plant expansion will increase production of aluminum from 530,000 to 840,000 tons/year.



Foxboro
, Foxboro, Mass., will supply I/A Series automation systems, process control equipment and related services to Veracel Celulose S A, Bahia, Brazil. The equipment will be installed in a 900,000 metric tons/year bleached eucalyptus pulp mill now under construction. More than 7,500 I/O points and 20,000 communication points will be integrated into the system.



ABB
will install a System 800xA control system at OM Group’s metal organics processing plant in Manchester, England.



Pavilion Technologies
, Austin, Texas, will supply its Process Perfecter software to Golden Bay Cement, Northland, New Zealand. The first system was installed on GBC’s cement mill six, and two more are scheduled for mills four and five.



Microwave Data Systems
, Rochester, N.Y., will supply the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority with wireless networks for its SCADA, public safety, automation, telecommunications, and on-line transactions. The island-wide installation will provide Ethernet-based data acquisition at remote sites and water reservoirs.
