Bachelor named new Chairman of CSIA

Electee begins a two-year term as head of CSIA, the largest association of control and information system integrators.

RAY BACHELOR, PE, president of Bachelor Controls of Sabetha, KS, is the new chairman of Control and Information System Integrators Association (CSIA). He assumed his role at the recently concluded 12th Annual CSIA Executive Conference, held at Memphis, Tennessee. At that meeting, four members were elected to the association’s executive council.

Bachelor, who has served on the association’s executive council since 2003, begins a two-year term as chairman of CSIA, the largest association of control and information system integrators in the world.

New executive council members are:

  • Jim Campbell, Viewpoint Systems, Rochester, NY
  • Tom Nelson, FluidIQs, Napa, CA
  • Dean Streck, VI Engineering, Farmington Hills, MI
  • Bob Zeigenfuse, Advanced Automation Associates, Exton, PA

They join Bob Adams, Revere Control Systems, Birmingham, AL, and Bill Pollock, Optimation Technology, Inc., Rush, NY, whose terms on the council continue. Walt Kozikowski of Rosslyn, VA-based National Electrical Manufacturers Association, serves as CSIA secretary. Norman O’Leary is the association’s executive director, based in Exton, PA.

Bachelor, who established his namesake company in 1983, is a graduate of West Virginia University Institute of Technology (B.S. Mechanical Engineering). Bachelor Controls is a Charter Rockwell Automation Solution Provider.
