Emerson and OSIsoft renew VAR agreement
OSIsoft is a key ally of Emerson in providing enterprise-wide control integration solutions. The alliance of the two companies has included joint product development, and resulted in integration of more than 7,000 of Emerson’s DeltaV digital automation systems with the OSIsoft Real-time Performance Management Platform (RtPM).
Emerson Process Management maintains OSIsoft’s highest Platinum-level VAR status due to its worldwide success in delivering the value of real-time information through its automation management projects.
The OSIsoft PI System data historian, the foundation of the Real-time Performance Platform, provides a common data architecture for applications from the plant floor to the business level. OSIsoft offerings that have been successfully integrated with Emerson products and services include Sigmafine mass balancing, maintenance applications, enterprise resource planning connectivity to real-time plant floor information, batch management, inventory management, process workflow, real-time reporting, real-time portal view, plant IT monitoring, operator reports, oil and gas production monitoring, and integrated production and scheduling.
“We set very aggressive growth targets for the VAR partnership three years ago, and this renewal builds upon the outstanding successes that OSIsoft and Emerson Process Management have realized together,” said Patrick Kennedy, Ph. D., founder and CEO of OSIsoft, Inc. “We are pleased to continue working with Emerson because they align with our commitment to deliver value now and over time for our shared global customer base.”
