Emerson Process Management has delivered the company’s 500,000th Micro Motion meter to brewer Anheuser-Busch at a recent ceremony.
This 500,000th Micro Motion meter was presented to Jeff Steinhart, Anheuser-Busch vice president, engineering by Tom Moser, president of Emerson’s Micro Motion division, at the Anheuser-Busch corporate headquarters in St. Louis.
Micro Motion Coriolis technology, with more than 1,000 patents, delivers the highest available accuracy to measure mass flow, volume flow, density and temperature for liquids, slurries and gases — all in a single device. The half-million milestone comes at the same time as the launch of the company’s next generation of enhanced Coriolis technology.
According to Emerson, there are more Micro Motion Coriolis meters installed throughout the world than all other brands combined. Micro Motion Coriolis flowmeters are a key component that powers Emerson Process Management’s PlantWeb digital plant architecture.
