Aug. 2, 2007

Mission Viejo, Calif., Aug. 2 -- Incuity Software, developer of real-time business intelligence (BI) software for manufacturing enterprises, today announced the company has signed a partner agreement with OSIsoft, Inc., under which Incuity will work with OSIsoft as an independent software vendor (ISV).

"We're extremely pleased to launch this partnership because there is so much to be gained by using the PI System and Incuity EMI in concert," said Doug Lawson, Incuity CEO. "So many of our end-user customers are users of the PI System that it's one of the most popular manufacturing data sources to which Incuity EMI is typically connected. This partnership gives us access to the outstanding technical resources of OSIsoft so that we can work together to provide the best possible application experience for PI System users. It also will be beneficial to our value added resellers, since so many of them have long familiarity with the PI System."

"The PI System is the premier platform for time-series data and context. We're delighted to be working closely with Incuity because the business intelligence capabilities of Incuity EMI are a powerful complement to the PI System," said Tom Gilson, OSIsoft Partner Program ISV Manager. "The synergy of our two product families can truly help break down the barriers between real time operational information and transactional business data to support better decision-making throughout manufacturing enterprises.

"Incuity EMI smoothly integrates PI System historical data with enterprise business data to present complete and context-rich information that provides deeper manufacturing insight," Lawson added. "Incuity can help PI System users to be more agile by enabling them to effectively leverage existing information assets and avoid a 'rip and replace' approach to business intelligence applications for manufacturing. Incuity also can serve as a platform for building composite manufacturing applications alongside the PI System to solve real world challenges like optimizing production performance, reducing cost and ensuring compliance."
