10/09/2007
Düsseldorf, Germany, October 8 -- ARC Advisory Group will host its fourth annual Process Management Academy (PMA), on January 28-30 in Düsseldorf, Germany, at the MARITIM Airport Hotel. PMA is an educational event specifically designed for professionals in the process industries, including power, food & beverage, chemical, oil & gas, and pharmaceutical. More than 300 decision makers from production and engineering departments will learn how to effectively manage and optimize production plants using collaborative manufacturing concepts and technologies.
This international event will feature speakers from around the globe. Executives from Arla Foods, BP, Degussa, EDF, Merck, Shell and many others will share their experiences and best practices and discuss strategies for success. Presentation topics include control architecture and migration strategies, safety, field instrument’s impact on asset management and plant performance, manufacturing software solutions, and emerging standards of industrial communication. Attendees will have the opportunity to network among their peers and gather intelligence about the latest developments in process automation solutions. Manufacturers can participate in a benchmarking workshop to see how companies are measuring their performance and developing best practices to make their processes more efficient and effective.
“I am pleased to be a part of ARC’s PMA Forum,” said Björg Otte, Head of EMR Maintenance at BP Gelsenkirchen. “This kind of event helps decision makers reach an advanced level regarding the use of new technologies.”
PMA already has over 36 sponsors, including Emerson Process Management, Siemens, Yokogawa, Rockwell Automation, Honeywell, Invensys Systems, Bayer Technology Services, NAMUR, PROLIST and WIB.
