Beamex successfully completes NUPIC audit
11/08/2007
Pietarsaari, Finland, Nov. 8 -- Beamex has taken a major step in terms of selling its products and services to North American power and energy industry. As a result of an audit, Beamex Quality System was found to comply with the requirements of North American nuclear power plants. The audit was made by NUPIC (Nuclear Procurement Issues Committee). All U.S.-based nuclear power plants and several international nuclear power plants are members of NUPIC. NUPIC was established in 1989 and it performs evaluations and audits assigned by its members. NUPIC audited the Beamex quality system and stated that Beamex has a total commitment to quality in all those areas that were audited.
Beamex considers this as a major achievement. “This is an important achievement, as it would be very difficult to approach this customer group without succeeding in the audit. The energy industry in the USA offers huge opportunities to us and the performance and specifications of our products offer unique benefits for the industry,” Raimo Ahola, the managing director of Beamex, states.
