Newburyport, Mass. - conneXion, a full-service distributor of electrical equipment and supplies serving the Chicagoland and surrounding territories, has announced that it has reached a new distribution agreement with electrical protection equipment provider Ferraz Shawmut.
"All of us at conneXion are excited to be partnering with Ferraz Shawmut," said David Rosenstein, president of conneXion. "The circuit protection market is a S5.5-billion market that, in our opinion, will continue to consolidate and will be dominated by a few market leaders. We see Ferraz Shawmut, with its strong brand recognition, quality service and support, as just such a leader."
Jim Kosciolek, Ferraz Shawmut's vice president of distributor sales, says, "Throughout the U.S. and abroad, Ferraz Shawmut is partnering with top-tier distributors who demand high quality products and solutions, combined with first-class product knowledge and systems support. Partnering with conneXion strengthens our distribution in Chicago and the surrounding area. We welcome conneXion to the Ferraz Shawmut family."
