Pepperl + Fuchs opens second U.S. office
08/22/2008
Twinsburg, Ohio – Twenty-five years after opening its U.S. headquarters in Twinsburg, Ohio, Pepperl+Fuchs announced the opening of a second U.S.-based office located in the Clay Crossing Business Center, Suite 100, 4321 W. Sam Houston Parkway N, Houston. This state-of-the-art training facility provides local technical support, hands-on training, real-world application demos, video conferencing and an experienced staff. Industry professionals are invited to tour the facility, meet the staff, see product demonstrations, and learn about the latest technologies in process automation.
“This is an exciting time for Pepperl+Fuchs, and our new facility provides the opportunity for Pepperl+Fuchs Process Automation Division to be even more accessible and to bring even more value to our customers and markets,” says Tyler Redslob, vice president of sales.
Pepperl+Fuchs is rated in the top 50 global process control suppliers by Control magazine, and double-digit sales growth has been consistent over the last five years. Pepperl+Fuchs has broadened its technology base and stimulated growth through acquisitions. Acquisitions for the Process Automation Division include Extec, a global manufacturer of industrial PC components and visualization equipment used in hazardous locations and Bebco EPS, renowned for its dominance in the purge/pressurization industry. The acquisition of the intrinsic safety instrumentation (ISB) business from Cooper Crouse-Hinds, a division of Cooper Industries, enabled Pepperl+Fuchs to extend its leading position in the international market of fieldbus connectivity and intrinsic safety protection technology for process automation industries.
