MESA postpones 2009 North American conference til next year

MESA International, the Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association, has moved its annual conference in North America to the spring of 2010. The decision was based on a recognition of the continuing economic downturn and on the results of a member survey. In that survey, 68% of North American respondents said their companies have travel restrictions in place today that will likely stay in place through the end of this year. Seventy-four percent said those restrictions would mean they are not likely to attend the conference.
The same survey contained strong input about MESA's European Conference scheduled for October 27 – 28 in Utrecht, The Netherlands. EMEA members indicated that they wanted to keep their 2009 confenence as scheduled and MESA is committed to doing so.
