Beamex's Intrinsically Safe Calibrators Receive CSA Certification

Beamex's intrinsically safe calibrators MC5-IS and MC2-IS and external pressure modules have received CSA certification for both the USA ("US" certification) and Canada ("C" certification).
CSA International (Canadian Standards Association), a testing and certification organization established in 1999, provides product testing and certification services for a variety of products. Recognized in the U.S., Canada and around the world, CSA's labels appear on many products worldwide. CSA International certification labels indicate that a product, process or service has been tested to a Canadian or U.S. standard and it meets the requirements of an applicable CSA standard or other recognized document used as a basis for certification.
The Beamex MC2-IS Multifunction Calibrator is a practical tool designed to be used in explosive environments. The Beamex MC5-IS Intrinsically Safe Multifunction Calibrator is a high-accuracy, all-in-one calibrator for extreme environments. The MC5-IS is a documenting calibrator, which means that it communicates seamlessly with calibration software. The MC5-IS has also HART communication and support for fieldbus instruments (Foundation Fieldbus H1 and Profibus PA).
The products are certified in the following classes:
- Beamex MC2-IS calibrator, EXT-s-IS external pressure modules
Canada: Ex ia IIC T4
USA: Class I, Zone 0; Group IIC; AEx ia IIC T4 - Beamex® MC5-IS calibrator, EXT-IS external pressure modules
