But Flowserve Plans for ISA100.11a Product Launch

Scott Wilkerson, senior product portfolio manager of the Flowserve Corporation has confirmed that Flowserve is to join the ISA100 Wireless Compliance Institute as a supplier member: "With ISA100-based products in the works at Flowserve, joining the ISA100 WCI gives us access to a technical and user ecosystem that enables us to accelerate our ISA100.11a product offerings." Andre Ristaino, managing director of ISA100 WCI, commented: "As one of the world’s largest manufacturers of pumps, valves, seals and other components, Flowserve brings another product category into the ISA100.11a-based offerings."

l Jay Werb, Technical Director at WCI, hosted a series of well-attended free webinars on April 5 entitled "ISA100.11a User-Driven Design Requirements for Wireless Industrial Communications," explaining the background input and thinking behind the different features of the current ISA100.11a standard. The webinars are scheduled to be available from the ISA100WCI website.
