Green Hills Software signed an agreement with Clarinox Technologies to promote both companies' joint offerings.
The Clarinox application suites and drivers for short-range wireless protocols – including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and RFID – will be integrated with Green Hills Software's INTEGRITY real-time operating system (RTOS) and the MULTI development toolchain to deliver application support for developers of embedded systems using short-range wireless protocols.
According to Christopher Smith, vice president of marketing at Green Hills Software, emebedded applications are increasingly requiring wireless connectivity. "Clarinox has created an extensive range of short-range wireless protocol stacks that, when combined with the Green Hills Platform for Wireless Devices, will provide application developers with unparalleled support in this area," said Smith.
The chief executive officer for Clarinox, Trish Messiter, is excited about the joint venture between both companies and the benefits that customers will obtain from this agreement. "We can accelerate the development, debugging and deployment of wireless-enabled embedded systems, thereby enhancing the user experience at each stage," said Messiter.
