Educational institutions across the United States currently use STEM programs that are provided by Project Lead The Way (PLTW) and CADCAMConnect has endorsed PLTW to provide engineering courses for future engineers.
PLTW engages students in activities, projects, and problem-based learning through hands-on classroom activities, and real-world experiences. Students create, design, build, discover, collaborate and solve problems while being exposed to areas of study that they typically do not pursue. These programs are a great foundation for them and a proven path to college and career success.
According to Ken Wilson, CEO of CADCAMConnect.com, the company is passionate about the industry and what PLTW is doing to prepare children to be the next great innovators. "The impact they're [PLTW] having on these kids is inspiring and is right in line with our mission of people helping people in the engineering community,"said Wilson.
CADCAMConnect's curriculum is delivered through PLTW's Virtual Academy at no charge to schools that register with PLTW. More than 4,700 schools in all 50 states and the District of Columbia are offering PLTW courses to their students.
