Honeywell was selected by Siberian Generating Company (SGK) to supply and implement new Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) at both the JSC "Kuzbassenergo" and JSC "Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)" regional power generation facilities which are operated by SGK. As part of project, Honeywell will install its MES solution at four power plants located at the Kuzbassenergo facility and two power plants at the Yenisei TGC site as well as at SGK's head office in Moscow.
Honeywell's MES solution will improve the flow of information between head office and the six sites, allowing SGK to continually monitor emissions and plant equipment health, manage repairs efficiently, and continuously improve maintenance practice by leveraging Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis. In addition, Honeywell has worked with its local partner RVS to develop a full set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) which comply with Russian standards and will allow SGK to automate routine operations and sustain compliance with local regulations.
At the plant level, the solution will also collect and store each plant's entire maintenance history, including equipment faults, performance issues and degradation rates, helping plant operators identify long term trends, diagnose issues early and prevent potential problems before they occur. For senior management, Honeywell's MES solution will enable better collaboration between facilities and convert plant data into insightful information for better decision-making and improved overall business results.
