Hero Engineering Functional Safety Management Engineering Services Certified as SIL 3

exida has certified the Hero Engineering Functional Safety Management Engineering Services as Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 3 capable per IEC 61508.
According to Eric Scharpf, exida's evaluating assessor, this certification was confirmed through an assessment process that included a site audit of both Hero's procedures and projects executed in accordance with those procedures. "Hero Engineering has a strong foundation for their functional safety engineering process." said Scharpf. "Meeting SIL 3 requirements means having a robust, high quality process, and their team deserves high praise for this ground-breaking achievement."
