Manufacturing Sector Expands Again

According to a report appearing in this morning's "ARCwire Industry Review and Outlook" from ARC Advisory Group, the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) says economic activity in the manufacturing sector expanded in June following one month of contraction, and the overall economy grew for the 49th consecutive month, according to the nation's supply executives in the latest "Manufacturing ISM Report On Business." Manufacturing expanded in June as the PMI registered 50.9%, an increase of 1.9% compared to May's reading of 49%.For the complete ARC coverage, go here.
