PAS, who bill themselves as "the Human Reliability Company" has made a flurry of announcements in the last couple of weeks. Two of them are significant. One of the announcements was PAS' expansion into Southern Europe:
PAS announced the expansion of its presence into Southern Europe. “The expansion to Southern Europe is a significant milestone. The market seeks our expertise in minimizing human error by delivering actionable information in context to plant operators, engineers, and managers in the thriving power, chemicals, and hydrocarbon processing industries in the region,” said Marc de Guiran, Vice President of Sales, Europe. “Existing and prospective customers will have dedicated regional representation and local support.”
Pasquale Paolone was recently appointed as Sales Manager, focused on growing PAS’ Southern European business. He brings more than fifteen years of international experience marketing and selling software solutions and services to the process industry.
The addition of Pasquale Paolone to PAS’ European team is part of the company’s expansion plan to increase its presence worldwide, leveraging the ongoing momentum of growth outside the United States. PAS has operations offices in the US, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Asia, Middle East, and Europe.
The other significant announcement was a SAVE THE DATE for the PAS Technology Conference in 2014. Billed as the company's 20th anniversary conference, this conference will be held May 19-21 2014 in Houston.
PAS announced that they have set up a mailing list for additional information in advance of the formal announcement and invitation.
