Research study: The current state of industrial cybersecurity - 2015

Oct. 30, 2015
Cybersecurity is no game, but before you invest thousands of dollars in a security plan, why not hear from your peers to learn what they are doing to fend off cyber attacks.

Ensuring the cybersecurity of our industrial infrastructure is a critical concern and organizations like NIST, ISA, ISO/IEC, and NERC have developed excellent guidelines for what needs to be done to protect critical industrial control systems (ICS).  But many end users still struggle to establish sustainable security programs.  They want to know what peers are actually doing before they make investments and they want to understand how they are addressing challenging areas like:

  • ICS cyber risk assessment and investment justification.
  • Selection of the most appropriate Standards and Frameworks
  • Allocation of responsibilities among internal groups.
  • Use of third party ICS cybersecurity services.
  • Selecting technologies for network and endpoint protection

These are important issues for every industrial organization.  If you are involved in the cybersecurity of industrial facilities we hope that you will help ARC Advisory Group develop an accurate assessment of the current state of Industrial cybersecurity. To participate, please complete the survey at the following link:

ARC 2015 Industrial Cybersecurity Survey

By completing this survey you will be helping to ensure that your industry is secure and remains a difficult target for would be attackers.  As an additional incentive, everyone who completes the survey will receive a summary report that they can use to evaluate their own ICS cybersecurity decisions.

Privacy and Confidentiality:  This survey requests information about your company's approach to cybersecurity strategy, not specific details about your cyber defenses. Individual responses will be considered confidential and only aggregate information will be used in any reports.
If you have questions about the survey, please contact Sid Snitkin at [email protected].
