Trine University to conduct certified Fieldbus training in July

The online portion of the classes starts June 27, 2016.
Trine University, a FOUNDATION certified training center located in Avon, Ind., is offering the following hybrid-format classes in July. The online portion of the classes starts June 27, 2016, and the in-person classes as scheduled:
  • FOUNDATION Certified Technical Specialist FF-300: July 19-22, 2016

This online plus four-day, on-campus, hands-on FOUNDATION Certified Technical Specialist program is designed for maintenance technicians, network technicians, maintenance and contract supervisors, vendor/contract service support specialists, control automation instructors and in-house trainers, as well as others who require competence to install, maintain, repair/replace and troubleshoot FOUNDATION fieldbus systems. Students have access to the online portion of the course (lectures & tests) four weeks prior to the on-campus classes.

  • FOUNDATION Certified Professional FF - 400: July 25-28, 2016

This comprehensive online plus four-day, on-campus, hands-on course covers all areas of fieldbus instrumentation: design, installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting. The course is designed for Engineers, Engineering Technologists, Integrators, Technologists, MICC (Main Instrumentation Controls Contractor)/MAC (Main Automation Contractor), EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction), Contract Administrators/Estimators, Certified Fieldbus Instructors, Programmer, Startup and Commissioning Specialist, Designers, System Analysts and others who desire to be fieldbus certified. Students have access to the online portion of the course (lectures & tests) four weeks prior to the on-campus classes.

Classes have no prerequisites and are vendor neutral. Course fee includes course handout material, lab exercises and certification. These are hybrid training programs, with four days hands-on learning experience. Sessions start at 8 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. Lunch will be provided by Trine University.
