Back to Basics: The Power of the Loop
Author: Otek
Posted: 04/24/2013
The current loop is probably one of the most underestimated data transmission and control method. It's so simple that we tend to ignore it in favor of more complex and sophisticated methods. This white paper will show that you don't have to tear down your current loop and use its power to upgrade to digital technology. Just replace the old analog meter!
Effective modeling for nonlinear control
Posted: 02/27/2007
This paper presents simulation results comparing Extrapolating Gain-Constrained Neural Networks (EGCN) to traditional neural network training methods, as well as to the recently proposed Bounded-Derivative Network (BDN).
Heated, smart and modular sample handling system: Enabler for closed-loop process control
Author: Parker Instrumentation Group
Posted: 07/14/2006
This white paper/case study documents the rationale and steps for deploying a modular sample handling system solution in a moisture-sensitive process, from concept through commissioning and operational performance.
Efficiency: The forgotten feature of power supplies
Author: Puls Power Supplies
Posted: 04/25/2006
Efficiency is one of the most important features that every engineer must consider when selecting a power supply. This White Paper maintains that it is possible to use a smaller power supply because no de-rating is necessary, in most cases.
