Surge-Trap Type 1 surge protective device (SPD) meets requirements for UL 1449 Third Edition, and is ideal for indoor applications. It features TPMOV technology, making it a “no-fuse” surge suppressor that doesn’t require the use of additional fuses or over-current protection. It can be installed upstream or downstream of the main disconnect. Surge-Trap Type 1 SPD product line offers a wide range of voltage configurations and satisfies National Electric Code (NEC) 2008 SPD requirements.
