Rotork's line of CMA electric actuators for the operation of process control valves and other continuous modulation applications, such as for metering pumps and damper drives now has new features that include increased functionality for manual local control at the valve, enhanced LCD positional display and programmable fail-to-position performance. Rotork CMA actuators are available for quarter-turn, rotary, or linear operation. They are powered by single-phase or direct-current supplies, are easily mounted in any orientation, have extremely accurate and repeatable position control, and include a permanently lubricated and maintenance-free drive train.Digital communication options include HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, Pakscan, DeviceNet, RIRO, and Modbus. Explosion-proof certification to international standards is available for hazardous area applications.
