SC9000 encapsulated power-pole (EP), arc-resistant, adjustable-frequency drive is reported to be the first fully integrated, arc-resistant, medium-voltage (MV) drive certified to Canadian Standards Association's (CSA) C22.2 No.22-11 standard, and witness-tested to the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers' (IEEE) C37.20.7 standard through extensive assessment at a third-party laboratory. It's engineered with a robust, arc-resistant, Type 2B enclosure to provide the strength needed to resist forces of arc events up to 50 kiloamperes (kA). SC9000 also meets the IEEE 519 guideline for harmonic control and reactive compensation of static-power converters. It's also certified to Underwriters Laboratories' (UL) 347A standard for MV power conversion equipment, as well as  Canadian Underwriters Laboratories' (cUL) standards, and it's restriction of hazardous substances (RoHS) compliant.
