Eco-Graph T multi-channel process display is a cost-effective alternative to paper recorders, data loggers and process indicators/displays. |IMPROVED SCOPE TOOL
The redesigned Scope tool in the TwinCAT automation software suite enables users to take advantage of extended graphics featured in PCs, such as DirectX. The Logger app, which can be installed in a Windows CE control system, records the data from different channels, including PLCs and motion control packages, with time stamps and saves them intermittently. The Viewer fetches the data from the Logger by means of Beckhoff's Automation Device Specification (ADS) and displays it.

SCM5B isoLynx SLX200 DAQsystem implements industry-standard Modbus RTU and TCP protocols, enabling communication with a variety of existing third-party software drivers and HMI/SCADA packages. It's fully certified by Modbus-IDA and compatible with OPC. It uses Modbus RTU for RS-232/RS-485 or Modbus TCP for Ethernet. The SLX200 combines a 6- or 12-channel I/O controller base system and optional 8- or 16-channel expansion backplanes, which can be either panel- or DIN rail-mounted. The system accepts single-channel digital or analog I/O modules. Other features include 16-bit A/D, D/A, 650+ different I/O modules, -40 °C to +85 °C operating temperature, free software configuration utility, CSA-certified, FM-approved (Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D).

X Series multifunction DAQ devices for PCI Express and PXI Express provide enhancements to analog I/O, digital I/O, onboard counters and multidevice synchronization. They include up to 32 analog inputs (AI), four analog outputs (AO), 48 digital I/O lines and four counters, range from low-cost 250 kS/s multiplexed AI to 2 MS/s simultaneous sampling AI. Simultaneous X Series devices integrate up to 16 ADCs on a single device at 2 MS/s per channel. Total throughput can surpass 100 MB/s for a single device—the practical maximum of the PCI bus.
|ETHERNET/IP GRAPHIC RECORDER
Eurotherm has adopted EtherNet/IP communication protocol, allowing its 6000 series Paperless Graphic Recorders. The implementation supports up to 200 I/O ports with simultaneous support for Modbus TCP. Now no unique hardware or software is needed to connect to most major controllers, and configuration is made simple with setup wizards and built-in diagnostic tools.

The Division 2/Zone 2 CorrTran Corrosion data logging system complements the CorrTran MV online corrosion monitoring transmitter, allowing users to access real-time corrosion data via Ethernet, USB, SD card or locally via videographic chart recorder. The system includes the new P+F KFD2-HLC-EX1.D HART loop converter that delivers three distinct 4-20 mA outputs that represent general corrosion, localized corrosion, and conductance. These three variables can then be recorded and displayed on a paperless data recorder that features a full-color, touchscreen display, up to 16 analog inputs, multiple types of media retrieval, and a Class I/Div 2, Zone 2 Ex-hazardous rating.
XCGSM, GSM cellular modem expansion card for the Red Lion Data Station Plus and Modular Controller series data acquisition products is enabled for a wide range of remote and mobile data management applications—without the use of external third-party modems. Users can take advantage of the powerful XCGSM feature set, including integrated IT-ready data logging of system performance and events for later review, port-sharing for control and programming of PLCs and other devices, cellular communication via an embedded expansion card, configuration via Red Lion's free Crimson 2.0 software. The system uses a standard SIM card so users can choose their own cellular plan, and operates on frequencies across the Americas, Europe and Asia through a Quad-band modem.
|UP TO 64,000 DATA POINTS
The Net Concentrator System (NCS) can store up to 64,000 points of time-stamped data and be configured to store data from one or all of its input channels. Users can select the sampling rate for any period between once per second to once every 24 hours. NCS features 20-bit measurement resolution and data rates up to 100 megabits per second. System will withstand very high and very low ambient temperature conditions (-40 °C to +85 °C, -40 °F to +185 °F).
|PC INTELLIGENCE/CONTROL FOR DAQ
758 Series IPCs offers a comprehensive solution for machine/process control, redundant networking and applications requiring high-speed data collection. The IPC modules employ a 1.4 GHz CPU, up to 256 MB of RAM and 512 MB of Flash to effectively transfer data from the shop floor to decision-makers on the top floor. PC-style features include two independent Ethernet ports, two USB ports for computer hardware, and an integrated web server for configuration, testing and retrieval of technical information. PLC functions include programming in all five IEC 61131-3 languages (via WAGO-I/O-PRO CAA tool), on-board digital I/O interface with watchdog and an optional fieldbus master (or slave) interface. 758 Series IPCs employ a battery-backed real-time clock. Higher-level IPC modules offer built-in HMI and OPC server. The series offers direct connectivity to the 300+ digital, analog and specialty I/O modules in the WAGO-I/O-System for customized control and communication solutions.
|MANAGE DATA VIA PC
DAQManager data management software allows users to easily manage and view their data via a PC. Data can be searched for under multiple topics, such as date/time, tag name and batch name. Channels recorded on different instruments and intervals can be combined and displayed on the same trend graph. DAQManager supports all DAQStation models. DXAdvanced R3's new features include custom graphics, alarm annunciator displays and multi-batch recording. EtherNet/IP and Profibus DP protocols allow DXAdvanced R3 to add recording and display functions to common control systems.
|NEW VISUALIZATION SOFTWARE
FactoryTalk View Machine Edition (ME) and FactoryTalk View Site Edition (SE) version 5.1 software, along with FactoryTalk ViewPoint software, allow easy, remote monitoring of manufacturing processes from an Internet browser. Both FactoryTalk View ME and FactoryTalk View SE visualization software now include updated operating system support for Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista Business Edition and Windows Server 2008. The updated version of FactoryTalk View ME software also adds support for Windows Vista Home Basic. A new application documenter, installed with both the FactoryTalk View ME and FactoryTalk View SE software, provides comprehensive documentation of HMI applications. FactoryTalk View ME version 5.1 software now supports parameter-passing capabilities which were previously only available with the FactoryTalk View SE software.
