What Was Hot This Year? What Were You Most Interested in Learning? Well, Here Are Our Top 10 Articles of 2014

By Katherine Bonfante

It is that time of the year, time to take a look back at what you, our reader, voted on (with a click of your mouse) as the most interesting articles to read on our site during 2014.

This year's hot topics, buzz words, or most used keywords used on search engines to get to us included loop checking, level transmitters, safety, plant safety, cybersecurity, PID tuning tips, and what makes a winner.  (Really?)

I expected to find lots of cybersecurity stories among our top ten articles, after all, there was plenty of computer hacking and phishing scams going on in our industry this year, but I was surprised to learn that the majority of our "most read articles" were our "Top 50 Automation Companies" ones.

Who knew you really want to know who's on top. Maybe you just want to know what they are doing to be the top leaders and plan your next move to take their place on that list next year.

You were also very interested in learning more about pressure level transmitters, controllers and software optimization. So without further ado, here is a completely list of our top ten most read articles.
