Fieldbus Foundation Commemorates 20th Anniversary at Hannover Messe
The Fieldbus Foundation, conducting a press conference at Hannover Messe 2014, commemorated its 20th anniversary. As a not-for-profit trade organization dedicated to fieldbus technology, the foundation led the effort to develop an open, interoperable, international fieldbus protocol. Fieldbus Foundation and HCF Make Progress Towards Potential Merger
The Fieldbus Foundation announced significant progress in its discussions with the HART Communication Foundation (HFC) on the potential for merging the two organizations into a single industry foundation dedicated to the needs of intelligent device communications in the world of process automation. Availability of FDI Specification and Developer Tools Extended

Put Gas Flow Measurement on the Bus
FCI's new ST100 Series gas flowmeters are the solution to deliver process gas flow measurement over FOUNDATION fieldbus for process control, plant productivity, leak detection, emissions monitoring and reporting, and more.
