Following are excerpts from an email that just popped up in my inbox:  July 2, 2007 Dear Valued CIMNET Customer:As you may already know, on May 3, 2007 CIMNET, Inc. executed a definitive agreement to merge its business operations into Invensys. CIMNET and its Board of Directors executed that agreement with the belief that our customers, product technology and employees would all benefit from becoming part of a larger organization. Invensys is a $5B global automation, controls, and solutions company consisting of six business units. On July 1, 2007, the merger became official with full approval by our shareholders. CIMNET will now operate as part of the Wonderware business unit of Invensys and will be taking on the Wonderware brand.Wonderware will brand the existing CIMNET products as Wonderware Factelligence and Wonderware DNC Professional. The current CIMNET offices and personnel will remain in place and work as part of the expanded Wonderware organization. All correspondences beginning on July 1st, 2007, previously completed by CIMNET, will now be coming with the Invensys / Wonderware images and branding. Please let others in your organization know of these changes. Sincerely, John Richardson Vice President, MES - Production & Performance Management Wonderware So another name goes into the Graveyard of Lost Brands.
