Autodesk joins Rockwell's Encompass Partner Program for electrical control designers

Nov. 11, 2005
AUTODESK HAS been accepted into the Rockwell Automation Encompass Partner program, the companies have announced. The partnership enables customers of Rockwell who utilize the Allen-Bradley brand of products to use Autodesk Electrical, an AutoCAD-based electrical controls design application, fully interoperable with Autodesk's other design applications. Autodesk enables users to interact with 2D and 3D design information in the same environment.

AutoCAD Electrical automates tasks for electrical controls designers and provides a path for designers who use AutoCAD to design control systems or generate critical reports by hand. AutoCAD contains libraries of Rockwell components that allow users to specify Allen-Bradley product content directly from the included libraries into a design.
