Securicon, specializing in cybersecurity services the critical infrastructure industries will combine its expertise with Belden's networking, connectivity and cable products.
Company officials hope the Belden-Securicon partnership will provide manufacturers, system integrators, architectural and engineering firms and end-users with comprehensive processes for assessing IT system security and securing industrial networks. The two companies previously worked together on a variety of cybersecurity initiatives.
“When our customers ask ‘how much security is needed and what should we do?’ we can make their next steps truly seamless thanks to this partnership,” Brian Oulton, Belden’s vice president of business development, said in a statement. “Securicon’s processes and experience in industrial markets and our portfolio of physical and cyber security solutions help to put the right security in place for our customers’ critical applications."
