National Manufacturing Day 2013: From Intern to Engineer

Quigley speaks about his success story, from intern to engineer, and demonstrates his long-term project, which he anticipates will be used in medical laboratories.

IMT Career Journal was on the scene at Festo Corporation, which supplies intuitive solutions for industrial automation, which hosted an event on national Manufacturing Day. The day dedicated to industry is part of a larger effort to break down misconceptions about manufacturing, and give the public a better understanding of the behind the scenes operations that lead to the most innovative processes and products available in the U.S. today.

Festo, hosted two MFG Day events on October 4 & 5th On Saturday, the corporation opened its doors to local high school and middle students.

Festo has worked with designers and manufacturers for more than 40 years to increase manufacturing productivity and to advance the state of industrial automation.
