Get Accurate Level Detection Using Guided Wave Radar
The Importance of Overfill - Safe Operation for Accurate Level Detection Using Guided Wave Radar.
There are practical applications where a guided wave radar (GWR) probe can be completely flooded with level all the way up to the process connection (face of the flange). A typical GWR probe has a transition or "dead" zone at the top of the probe, requiring the transmitter to use special algorithms to "infer" level measurement when undesirable signal interaction occurs and the actual level signal is lost. When this happens a solution called the Overfill-safe Operation can be put in place. Download this white paper and learn what Overfill-safe Operation is and how it helps you get accurate level detection using GWRs.
