The Fieldbus Foundation Middle East Marketing Committee (FFMEMC) was pleased with the success of its recent FOUNDATION fieldbus road shows held on December 11, in Muscat, Oman, and on December 12, in Kuwait City, Kuwait.
The agenda included various subjects from the basics to advanced technology topics, including:
Question and answer sessions at each road show proved to be valuable and informative. At each event, over 70 participants, including end users, designers, engineers, manufacturers, system integrators, EPCs and PMCs, were able to interact with the speakers and representatives from Fieldbus Foundation member companies and discuss a wide range of queries and issues. Further opportunities for discussion and networking were available during the breaks and the complimentary dinner for all attendees.
FFMEMC Chairman Ravindra Jagasia and Vice Chairman Mehul Vaidya thanked members of the FFMEMC and FFEUC-ME for their efforts. They stated, "Once again we have successfully achieved our aim to reach out to current and potential end users with vendor-neutral information about FOUNDATION technology and its role in lifecycle management in today's plants."
The FFMEMC enjoys a close working relationship with several ISA groups across the region and appreciated the support offered by the ISA Kuwait Chapter in hosting and promoting the event in Kuwait.
