Holly Corp. refinery to use SmartSignal solution to support its KPIs

CHICAGO -- August 8, 2006 -- SmartSignal has announced that Holly Corporation will deploy its EPI Center predictive analytics solution at Holly's Navajo Refinery. The software solution will be deployed on Navajo’s crude unit, CCR unit, fluidized catalytic cracker unit, hydro treating unit and the ROSE unit.
EPI Center continually inspects key aspects of process and equipment health to provide early warning of impending problems, enabling increased uptime and reduced operating costs. EPI Center provides constant, 24/7, predictive, data-centric analysis of the health of all monitored equipment and processes. In this way, EPI Center identifies impending problems, transcends data overload, and predicts abnormal process and equipment performance days, weeks, and even months earlier than possible with traditional monitoring methods.
