Green Hills Software, an independent vendor of embedded software solutions, has formally joined the GENIVI Alliance as an Associate Member. The GENIVI Alliance is an automotive and consumer electronics industry association driving the development and adoption of an open In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) reference platform.
According to Dan Mender, vice president of business development at Green Hills Software, Green Hills brings rich capabilities and expertise when developing reliable and secure embedded systems.
"With its expansive cross-industry experience, working with the highest levels of electronic device safety and security, Green Hills will contribute to expand the capabilities of the IVI reference platform slated for availability from the Alliance," said Mender.
