Metso wins Polish containerboard project

Metso has received an important automation order for the new Stora Enso Narew Sp.zo.o containerboard production line at Ostroleka, Poland. The production line will produce 455.000 tonnes of lightweight testliner per year.

The delivery scope includes the MetsoDNA Automation and Process Info Managment systems, the latest web inspection technology integrated with a high-speed web break analysis sytem, control and on/off-valves, and consistency transmitters and field instruments. The main shipments will take place during the third quarter of 2012, and the €285-million project is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2013.
