VLT AutomationDrive FC 302 is embedded with condition-based monitoring, allowing users to employ the drive as a sensor to monitor the condition of motors and applications, detect issues early, and find solutions before they impact processes. Sensed activities include monitoring motor stator winding conditions, mechanical vibration monitoring, and load envelope monitoring. Since these functions are embedded in FC302, it can perform them without connecting to a PLC or cloud-computing service.
