1551W Series are IP68-sealed versions of the 1551 miniature enclosure family. Launched in an initial five sizes, they’re all available with a plain or flanged lid. These UL94-V0 polycarbonate enclosures are suitable for use inside or outside, and available in black and grey with a soft-texture finish. 1551W is fitted with PCB stand-offs in the base, while its preformed silicone sealing gasket protects housed electronics against dust or water. The initial five sizes range from 2.36 x 1.38 x 0.87 in. to 3.94 x 1.97 x 0.94 in. (60 x 35 x 22mm to 100 x 59 x 25mm). Its flanged lid versions make mounting to any surface simple and easy, and provides a degree of tamper resistance by preventing access to the lid and base securing screws.
