After pioneering the first DCS (CENTUM), Yokogawa has identified two significant trends that its DCS will help navigate: advances in AI and machine learning which power predictive maintenance, quality control, automated optimization, digital twins for simulation and optimization. These will further the ultimate goal of “autonomous operations."
