We've been meeting this way since December, and I am having a great time. This is a fantastic way for me to chronicle the daily life of the process automation marketplace. We're moving to a new web platform, which will give me real blogging software soon, and there may be some disjointedness in the next couple of weeks or so. I've been hearing reports about the activity at the ISA President's Meeting, just winding up in Portland, Ore. this morning. There are some initiatives being discussed that I think are extremely worthy of your interest and support. After the meetings are over, I will have more to say on the subject. The fact is, if ISA didn't exist, we'd have to invent it. Since our predecessors over 50 years ago already did invent it, it is up to all of us, endusers, consultants, vendors alike, in the process automation industries to see to it that this invaluable resource is restored to its former prominence. With my colleagues, I have worked very hard to see to it that ISA changed with the times, and became increasingly relevant. The job is way far from over, and I will continue to work to change our organization and make it better. Comments? --Walt Boyes
