And in other news about raising the level of interest in engineering among the younger crowd, news has come out today that the PBS show "Design Squad", produced by WGBH, Boston, won a Peabody Award for excellence in broadcasting. Take a look at the goodies on the show website.
This is just the kind of effort we need to be making more of if we're going catch the kids and get them interested in engineering.
