At the 63rd (2008) Texas A&M Instrumentation Symposium for the Process Industries, for which I had the great honor of being the keynote speaker, I heard an excellent presentation by Madhukar Puniani from Endress+Hauser about practical energy management.

After considerable cajoling, and more than a year, Madhukar has consented to provide me a revised white paper which we've posted today as It Pays to Give Energy Management a Thought!
