Endress+Hauser Field Xpert: Mobile Fieldbus Companion

Field Xpert is Endress+Hauser’s mobile solution for managing FOUNDATION fieldbus and HART devices. Thanks to its ruggedized construction, the field configurator can be used in dusty and wet industrial environments. Two versions exist: Field Xpert SFX370 for use in explosion hazardous areas and Field Xpert SFX350 for safe areas.

Field Xpert connects to individual devices via Bluetooth or to networks via Wi-Fi; host computer access is via Wi-Fi or USB. Guided touch screen operation ensures quick and simple device configuration. Reports are easily generated and configurations can be stored and compared. Various options, e.g. mobile phone, camera, scanner, imager, RFID etc., make Field Xpert the ideal companion in the field.

Field Xpert also supports advanced FOUNDATION fieldbus diagnostics, whereby diagnostic information is categorized according to its importance and appropriate remedial actions are displayed. This simplifies trouble-shooting and allows maintenance tasks to be performed more reliably and efficiently. The loops in your plant can thus be better and more easily managed.
