Trip amplifier with tuning fork can serve as a point-level alarm

April 30, 2024

Vibracon LVL-A7 is a trip amplifier for all types of liquids. It’s used in tanks, vessels and pipes for overfill prevention or pump protection in filling applications. This detection method uses a tuning fork, which is brought to a resonance frequency by a piezoelectric drive. When the tuning fork is covered with liquid, its frequency changes, and the amplifier produces an output. Vibracon LVL-A7 requires very little maintenance, and can tolerate wide temperature fluctuations, as well as high-pressure cleaning, sterilization and disinfection processes. It also resists deposits, abrasion and turbulence, and can serve as a reliable point-level alarm.
