Large-volume, outdoor housings for reliable operation of autonomous devices

July 5, 2024

Outdoor Case System (OCS) field-installed, electronic enclosures have added three new, larger housings to simplify installation of multiple electronic components into one housing. These large-volume housings are designed to withstand extreme environmental conditions, and reliably protect electrical components from extreme temperatures, humidity, UV radiation, heavy impact and mechanical strain. Even jet water from aggressive washdowns won’t penetrate OCS’ air-tight seal. These NEMA 6P/IP69-rated polycarbonate housings are lightweight, but their IK10 rating makes them capable of withstanding a 20-joule impact from a 40-cm height. OCS is also highly flexible, and can be adapted and extended with various mountings and connections.
